Assessify energy assessors completed a home energy assessment at a home in Abbotsbury in response to see how to reduce energy and water bills & potentially looking at investing in a solar battery.
The property has solar panels but still experiences above average energy bills.
Having conducted a thorough assessment on the home looking at how energy & water is used, we engaged the client in discussions about the best way forward to reduce their bills without the need for a battery, however also provided information on battery costs & incentive programs.
The team looked at different factors, including behavioural changes which cost nothing to implement, low cost changes like installing tap aerators, and larger cost changes like insulating the walls of the home.
Through these changes, we can see there is a potential for a $1300 per year saving off their energy & water bills.
The client will look to put this towards a family holiday.
