Assessify completed a home energy audit at a home in Fairfield Heights in response to rising electricity bills.
The property's orientation—prioritising privacy—resulted in poor thermal performance and increased reliance on air conditioning to cool the home.
Assessify conducted a thorough assessment on the home looking at how energy is used and engaged the client in discussions about the best way forward to reduce their bills.
Working within the budget specified, the team recommended a behavioural change plan in how energy is used to improve efficiency. This strategy does not cost anything to the client as they are changing the way they use energy to save money.
By May 2025, daily energy consumption dropped from 14 kWh to 5 kWh, translating to an estimated annual saving of $1100.
The client is now redirecting these savings toward her grandchildren’s future.
